leather jackets are awesome! my only problem is that i can never find any that are slim enough in the sleeve i bought a cute jacket recently from danier leather (http://www.danier.com/eng/Women-ShortJackets/104030379) in toronto, but the sleeves are too wide for my taste. anyone know any decent leather tailors in the dc area?

Yes, leather jackets are a staple. I like how leather jackets can add edge to a simple outfit. Leather jackets also help a women pull off that masculine/feminine look.

I just bought this one. I first spotted it on the blog of a boutique in my area for $395 but by the time I got them on the phone it was sold out. Luckily I found another one via Google that was a)on sale b)had a discount coupon online and c) was out of state so I didn't have to pay tax. I love it:

great jacket! I think that this is a very interesting and original take on a classic. looks very wearable. the leather must be pretty soft and thin to drape like that.

I got the photos from a website. The model in that pic is probably 15 years younger than me and unlike me, does not have baby spit up in her hair.

I love the jacket. It is thin but not as thin as one would think given how it drapes. Now if it would just stop raining for a minute, maybe I could wear it outside.

i LOVE that jacket. it is the perfect spin on a leather jacket. as for me i'm still looking for the perfect one.. it sucks how i have 3 pairs already and they aren't cutting it for me. one is too big in the arms, one is cropped but has perfect sleeves, and one is bomberish and i hate that now.

i did get this really nice fitting faux leather brown jacket from forever 21.. super soft and has fleece lining that is soft as well.

i love them and am always on the hunt for the perfect one. i did get the sword grey lucca jacket in a L but unfortunately it doesn't fit me. i told myself it did and that i would lose weight. ha! now reading i see they run small. wish some online retailers would stock xl. regardless i need to get rid of it.

That last leather jacket picture is absolutely gorgeous. I want that jacket right now!

I haven't got a leather jacket yet (shock, horror)! I used to have one when I was younger but I think there's so many to choose from I dont really know which to pick. I want to invest in a decent one that will last me for years to come so I need to choose one that's versitile and not just good at the moment but will be completely off-trend by next season.
