Loving this thread! I have never been into leather jackets but all of a sudden the cuts of them have been greatly improved. I have to get my hands on one!!!!!!!!

I absolutely love Daria's - did anyone id it?

Thanks for filling me in....I guess I'm gonna have to give Prada and the expensive price-tag a miss. Shame coz I think that's the most beautiful leather jacket I've set eyes on

I´ve been always a fan of leather jackets... I have 3 and my favourite and one from Pepe Jeans last season in black... it´s a classic rock&roll style jacket... for next fall I felt in love with the new reinvented trench Bailey designed for Burberry in black

the trick, in my experience, in altering--or in my case, repairing--a leather jacket is that you need heavier thread and maybe a tough sewing machine. i tried fixing the seams on the elbow of my old red leather jacket and the thread ripping apart all over again.


i got the jacket on sale for about 70-80$ -- really nice, soft genuine leather and is cut beautifully (very fitted and great length--ends at the small of my back) and is a bright shade of red. it was a sample model from Wilson's Leather.

Oh, I am torn as I don't know whether to get a leather jacket or not... is it possible to make it look lady like instead of rock'n'roll? I would like to get a chocolate brown bomber.

I love love black leather jackets. Men and women. I love rock n roll, but next winter I would like to merge my conflicting personality and have a sexier fit. It just seems like it would be ultra hard to find. I had a bad enough time finding my last one.

^go to the model street style thread..and look for people like daria, natasha, snejana.....so many models have amazing leather jackets and style them AMAZINGLY
