I would definitely hang onto it. Believe me, i'm talking from personal experience. I just graduated and money is tight, but i've wanted a Mike and Chris jacket for 1 1/2 yrs. I think we'll both get a lot of use out of our buys.

I love leather jackets and I have two - a brown bomber with collar similar to one of the pictures kiddokiddo posted, and a black vintage shrunken one.
Currently on the hunt for a hooded one.

On another note - new here - hi all!

There's a Rick Owens leather jacket in ivory on ebay UK for 200 pounds/ 400 dollars right now. It's the same style as the second Rick Owens jacket posted above, if anyone's interested. I would purchase it myself if I hadn't JUST bought a Rick Owens leather jacket online... I also got the Kate Moss Topshop leather jacket recently, it's really great.

Don't worry about it. It's summer here and I still sleep in mine.

I'm kind of curious if you guys have taken any measures to protect your leather jacket from the elements other than the obvious of not going out in a downpour?
Whaat? I've rolled around on the ground/snow/dirt in mine. I thought leather was indestructable.

I really love the Rick Owens jackets, but they are a bit out of my price range.
But i recently got a very nice fitted chocolate brown one from Carlings. The leather is so soft, and the fit is great.
I also got a black one from Zara. Also short and fitted. The leather is washed, which gives it at wrinkled look and there is a bit of a rock-chic feel to it.
I wear them both a lot, and think I will be doing it for quite a while.

I love the look when you have strict ponytail it and a black leather jacket it gives it a fresh feel...
