I bought a pair of Bass loafers last year, I was so crushed on that Margaret Howell look, the loafers with a dark skirt and a plain white blouse/shirt (still am ).. I don't wear them often but I love them, I think they'd look cute on someone with smaller feet (I'm size 10 ) but I actually enjoy how they confuse people (size + the design itself), especially men.
Love the patent leather ones from La Garçonne. Wish I could fine something less robust like that, and in patent leather.
Really classical unisex style (penny loafers). In particular I remember Audrey wearing them quite often in Funny Face; I guess to emphasize the intellect of her character (college/university = loafer).
But I'm no fan of patent leather that looks kinda cheap (personal opinion )

To me they are just the right amount of masculine
But I do really like men's shoes. It balances out the femininity of most of the dresses I wear.
I've been meaning to buy a pair for about a year I think. But I haven't found the perfect pair. I want them to be as simple as possible. Black, no tassles, nice leather, with a heel (albeit low). I really do like the second to last ones from J. Crew in post #6.

i've been loving loafers lately and have had to restrain myself from impulse buying too many pairs...
i recently caved and bought a leopard print pair of steven by steve madden loafers during Nordstrom's Anniversary sale..
my sister bought the glitter pair.

shutterbug...
i like how those are a bit more feminized...
makes them seem a bit more wearable - at least for me...
it's hard for me to do a chunky shoe and not feel really unattractive... ...
those ones you posted are cute as well chrissy---
i love the whole sparkle shoe trend - ever since margiela did it way back when...
and i am always a sucker for pretty much anything leopard...
that is a pretty good leopard print (oh-i hate bad leopard so much@!.........)
i guess this is pretty much one of those unisex trends...
i kinda love when that happens...
ANDROGYNY!!!...
...

^^i definitely have a thing for "go with everything" sparkly shoes as well...
i wish my sister and i had the same shoe size so i could steal hers
that nude/tan patent pair from j crew looks really great...
i love that there is such a variety of great looking loafers out there and i love the androgyny of them for sure.
they look so great with cropped pants...
i wore my leopard pair today with some black and white nanette lepore shorts, a black tank and a yellow lace cardigan (with a brown/black abstract giraffe print scarf thrown on as well)
stubbs & wootton's loafer/slippers come in some really fun/quirky/interesting iterations as well, but i just couldn't justify the price for myself since i didn't find a pair that i really fell in love with: http://www.stubbsandwootton.com/
my boss has a great black pair with little golden bees on them that she got years ago...
those i would have splurged on
my dad is a beekeeper as a hobby so i have a bit of a soft spot for things with bees on them since they remind me of him
