I've loved this style and worn it, for quite a while now...

Great collection of photographs though mimmy!

But you also posted the most adorable white dress I have ever seen a couple of posts ago.
I'm in love

If i knew where to get it i would fly there right this minute. I want that dress!!!

I think you're right about this being part of the boho trend, by the way.

If I were an editor for Vogue, my list for the essentials of this trend would go something like this:

Satin ribbons
White cotton or linen lace
Babydoll dresses
Golden heart pendant
Flower prints
Ankle socks
Striped tights
Plastic toy accessories

Got more ideas?

why do you have to be an editor for vogue...?...anyone can have those things...or do you mean that you would suggest that other people get them...?...

round toe shoes
bows
puffy sleeves
empire waists
smocking (gathers)
cropped/shrunken jkts and/or cardigan

Vogue editors like to dictate the "essentials" for every season, that's what I meant

Beautiful additions to the list! Specifically like the puffy sleeves, roud toe shoes, empire waists and smocking. lovely

softgrey: so pretty and it is connected to this thread as well!

I like the Lolita look when it's done a bit more grown up...if that makes any sense. Kind of like, pretty little baby-doll dress, but in black, cute mary jane pumps, but with a high heel, smudgy black eyeliner, messy up-do. Kind of girly, but with an edge.

Marc Jacobs f/w 01 and Gucci f/w 01 did it the way I like it.
