I don't see it becoming a big trend in the stores... though I wish it were. I work at Urban Outfitters(either most loved or most hated store ha) and so far early fall stuff isn't really going in that direction... at all. Right now it's looking kind of 70s... still very vintage-like . I'm not saying that I want to see every girl trying to look goth, much less an "urban" version. I just want black clothes that look black, not black that looks as if it has been worn and washed 50 times prior. that and I'm sick of boho and sienna miller skirts... i want cleaner silhouettes. And I need a new pair of boots for cheap. I guess I just want this trend for selfish reasons ha.

the Ann Dem isn't exactly what I'd call goth, but it's kind of like some of my interpretations of it...

Actually,I think that particular collection from Ann is sort of like a shredded up,flowy banshee variation of Gothic Victoriana.

oh too much description?

But yeah, since so many have often dubbed Ann's work as a bit Gothic....I thought this one was alot more obvious with the jet beads and crucifixes...not to mention those sort of corset-like bits and coats that reminds one of Medievel Transylvania or something.
