i can't say i didn't see this one coming...

Peplums have been about for a few seasons now, but for spring/summer 2012 a skirt would not be complete without one. They are not only restricted to the pencil skirt, and come in all shapes and sizes.

and like any trend or design... some of the peplums worked better than others

A peplum is always a good thing to start with for me, and while I agree some look better than others, I really like the trend in general.

This has definitely been stirring for a while, nice thread softie!

I love this but I find this to be a trend where one has to be extra, extra careful to get the proportions right. I've seen this look so off so many times due to women not choosing the right fit either ending up widening their hips or looking square.

But when done right, it's just so.. right
