Nicholas Andreas Taralis

Rick Owens - the big quilted coat seems very 'safe'

The top 2 remind me of Hannibal the Cannibal...

And the first Undercover one reminds me of the robot from "the Day the Earth Stood Still."

Some of it is beautiful, some of it is scary. Yamamoto does it well, I like the grey Westwood too.

Some of it reminds me of horror films.

Space is definitly onto something, even beyond the design feature like armor-like construction, I think this season the mood in general is about protecting oneself through strong, commanding, almost severe clothes.

hmm...i'm not really getting that overall with the collections...
just from the usual suspects who basically do it season after season...

...

mostly i am seeing lace and chiffon and bows and romantic silhouettes...
especially with puffy sleeves...

the real 'edge' i see is coming from the heavy platform shoes that are all over the place...
