I prefer Jackie O shades. They're so to die for but mom hates wearing it. She prefers the smaller ones instead. MNG or Mango has the best oversized shades without breaking the bank.

I live in LA and I'm seeing these sunglasses pop up on all the hipsters in Silverlake and Hollywood. They seem to be fast replacing the huge 70's glam sunglasses.

Marc Jacobs has a pair out that keeps selling out on eLuxury. I know b/c I keep trying to buy them, and they are never available.

Tom Ford also has a new style in this shape, the Carine, on eLuxury:

I first spied them on Lindsay Lohan. A recent pic:

Thoughts? I actually like this trend. Maybe not in white. Marc Jacobs are in black and Tom Ford's are a tortoise shell.

I bought them in mid 2004, so I dont feel that bad. I found them at a store and thought they look so 90s...havent worn them since new year's eve..[04-05].

my mum has a pair, she use to wear them so i remember them from being little. they remind me of bob dylan and roy orbison. i like them, they are a nice shape, a little different from the 'trendy' sunglasses.
