I've been hearing a lot about these *new* "vintage wayfarer" sunglasses that Ray Ban RB4140 has just introduced. Apparently these are going to be the HOT wayfarer ray-bans for Fall/Winter '09

I absolutely loveeee Ray Ban Wayfarers. They are a classic that will never go out of style!
I own a pair of New Wayfarers in black and they are awesome! The reason I chose them over the original ones is because I do think that the originals tend to kinda stick out and I don't find it flattering for my face
I love how they instantly make almost any outfit look cool!

I think the Skinny Wayfarer that was mentioned above is called Ray Ban Retro Cat Eye. They might be my new favorites Look really trendy!

i dont like the skinny wayfarer. i remember them from the 80s and they got incredibly stale back then. love the looks of the new retro ones though, they look smaller to me. will have to check them out irl. i agree wayfarers are timeless. buy a pair now, when you tire of them, put them away and pull em out 20 years later.

So I tried them both on. The retro wayfarer is really tiny and looked strange on my face like I was wearing Tom Petty glasses or something. Not cute. The skinny wayfarer however looked really great, like a rounded wayfarer style. I still love my oversized tortoise wayfarers the best though.
