Do you think pinafores can look good on plus-sized girls? And up to what age can wear pinafores without looking ridiculous?

I ordered two rompers from topshop, both in royal blue. Of course I got ripped off since I'm american so an order of 50 GBP turned out to just under 100 USD.

One is spaghetti stap that ties at the shoulder and one is a wrap front with a hood.

Sadly the latter is a little bit small (the shorts part is barely long enough to cover my tush) but it will have to work because the cost of shipping it back will cost as much as I paid for the garment.

At least the other one is cute.

I also just ordered the Sparkle and Fade one from Urban Outfitters but it hasn't arrived yet.

Yes! Except the last one didn't arrive yet. And the shorter one isn't pornographic or anything, it's just really short. I think I'm gonna wear black footless tights under it so I don't feel self-conscious.

I very much prefer the Ponte Pinafore. It's very pretty! And very wearable! Antigone, you're from Singapore, right? Did you get this from the stores? I want one too!

Yup I got them from the Dorothy Perkins store here. You have DP in Singapore right? How are the stocks? Here, not all featured in the website can be found.

And also, what do I wear them with? I'm a plus size US 14-16. I'm also 28 years old. :P Am I too old for this?

Antigone, I believe Singapore's DP doesn't have the full range too, although I hardly step into DP. But I will now

I think the Ponte will go nicely with all white tops, even with a simple sleeveless top, if you dare. Have fun with it!

so it just came yesterday. I think it's adorable but the fabric is all wrong and so not how I thought it would be. I thought it would be like a fine jersey knit but it's a sheer lingerie material. Completely transparent. I think I may return it. I love the garment as a whole but I don't know if I can make it work with the fabric. I just slipped it on and snapped a few pictures so please tell me what you think. I'm just wearing a cami and spandex shorts underneath so don't pay attention to the outfit, jsut the garment. I didn't think about the outfit, it's just so you can see what it's like. My mom said it's pretty underwear but I "can't wear that in public". What do you think?
