A trend that has been going on for a few seasons now but that is coming back full force in really wearable dramatic clothing. From the sculpture trend, to the metallic, to the high gloss leather to severely strict cuts and lines to the out of this world jewelry.
I think taking the essence of it, a bit of shine, monochrome color, sharp lines and architectural silhouettes, can really work for every day.
Jil Sander probably does it in the least threatening way, that folded collar jacket and trouser look can be worn as is for someone who likes a bit of drama in their wardrobe. Same with that first Balenciaga look, with different hair and makeup and if you edit out that metallic portion at the hips, you're left with an abstract draped top and chic cigarette pants....perfect for evening I think.

I adore the Louis Vuitton pictures, particularly the last two (though, perhaps, for their artistic merit rather than wearability). I think the LV coat could work for the every day if it was teamed with something equally striking/smart, and maybe boots of the same shade.
