I love that first beige collar at LV, looks really fantastic with the brooch.

I was just about to say the exact same thing.

There were a few at Givenchy but I'm not sure if they're just oversized collars or exaggerated detail as a opposed to sculptural ones.

^ It can't hurt to post them

At the very least they'll just be a more subdued take on the trend.

True true. The detail is hard to see because it's such a black black.

^ I was actually going to post that first one yesterday, but then I wound up forgetting to.

Thanks for bringing them in AR!

And I only wish I could see the detail more clearly ,I checked on style.com but the photos weren't much better.

Actually, I think these collars are a bit too outlandish and a bit too extreme in size. I don't vehemently hate these collars, but I think these huge collars are just a bit too much. They are more reserved for fashion models and any art models. Some of the larger collars seem more like a huge scarf attached to the jackets and coats. The look acheives an artistic look. I probably wouldn't wear extremely large collars if I were a lady. I'd wear tops and jackets/coats with more subtle collars. These are just a bit too much for me.

A great built-up collar is always a selling point in a coat for me:p it gives me a sense of protection

Great Givenchy addition

I'm really loving this trend, I wish there were more options for men in this vein.

A big, upturned collar masking half the face, it's so James Dean! :p

I know the subject matter is about sculptural collars, but I like the harem-style pants worn in the first picture of John Galliano (Post #16). I also like the shoes that model is wearing. These collars seem a bit too extreme for me. The right kinds of huge collars, however, can make for an exceptional look. I have most enjoyed the subtlety of the Calvin Klein design (Post #1). Something a lot less subtle, yet stylish, is the Antonio Marras design from Post #26 (second picture). It is a very weird style for my tastes. Done right, I like it.

*Sigh* :p Some of them might not be exactly sculptural though...
