I haven't notice they had become that popular but its true... i like when the outfit is simple if not might be too much... but they have some elegant vibe on some of those samples some of you have posted... good stylist

my mum used to wear them too! She told me this pattern is called "plumetis". I am definitely going to get a pair, I like them exactly like those at Balenciaga. They're sexy and sophisticated to me and I love sheer tights... it's also true that they get runs very easily, unfortunately... It makes me freak out having to throw tights away after I've worn them just once

ive always loved a spotted tight, sometimes black opaques can look to formal, but with a spot it can lighten an outfit in a subtle fun way

i use to have these beautiful ones from tabio with little hearts on, i may invest in a pair again

I also love this trend...however I think it is more classic then trendy....
I recently got a lovely pair on a trip to NYC at J Crew (out of all places!). Any more less expensive suggestions for Canadians would be great!

i love these. (; i once saw a pair with stars instead of spots and they were really cute, wish i'd bought them. i really need to get a pair of these.

if the dots are really small and spread-out it kind of looks like you have like chickenpox or something. :P well to me it does.

To me, stars, hearts, diamonds or other designs detract from the elegance aspect. They become 'girly' instead of classic.

I had a gift certificate so I'm not 100% sure...I think around $10-12...I do know that they're having a "hosiery event" soon and their own brand tights will be on sale...

I got a pair for 1 euro at topshop a few weeks ago and I can't wait for the weather to cool down so I can actually wear them.
