Trends that are consistent for several seasons
Lately we have seen some trends that occur season after season.
Colour blocking, tribal influences, leather etc have all been around for seasons. What are some of the trends you think have been around for more than 1 season>

Peplums! I loved them back in fall 2011, and while I still adore a good one, I'm sick of all these Mango or Zara tops and dresses that scream "I'm sooo trendy! I have a peplum!".

F/W 2011.12: Stella McCartney, Marc Jacobs

S/S 2012: Dior, Giorgio Armani

F/W 2011.12: Lanvin, Kenzo

S/S 2013: Calvin Klein, Viktor & Rolf

I wish peplums were less consistent, tbh. There were nice at first but it's too much now!

I love the color-blocking trend and its longevity. An early example that comes to mind is the Mondrian dress.

^ I think of it being more like an evergreen classic.
