Someone mentioned maxi dresses with combat boots (let alone Dr. Martens). That's a cute-meets-tough look that's actually nice. I am usually one who prefers maxis paired with lovely sandals or pumps rather than any kind of tough shoes. However, even I do think a maxi dress or maxi skirt with Converses is a nice casual combination.

You need not tell me twice- nothing lovelier than these trouser jeans and these bootcut and flare jeans. I've gotten tired of the skinny jean and "jegging" praise that the flared love is back. Just so you know... I don't hate skinny jeans; I'm just tired of them. If they fit you best for jeans, that's fine. But much like I've complained about liking things just because they are different, the trend with flares is a different shift I like. Oh, and by the way... the '70s style is refreshing after all the butt kissing of the eighties' backside the past five years.

A few more notes on the trouser jeans... those are jeans I have never disliked. Maybe they aren't supremely casual to the point of preferring them ripped and torn or whatever, but trouser jeans are more like the happy medium of dressy and casual. I always find these trouser jeans to look best with either a pair of pumps, peep-toe pumps, or a chic pair of sandals. If you want to keep the '70s vibe going, best to find some platform pumps or sandals (most of you know I don't like peep-toe flats or low-heel peep-toe shoes). Something elegant and chic to match. Also, I've become fond of plaid shirts to go with trouser jeans or high-waist jeans. Lot of love for these trouser jeans.

Lace Shirts

Blue Nail polishI'm still diggin' blue nail polish. I really like teal polishes as well.
I just bought OPI's "Ski Teal we drop" from their Swiss collection, and I just love it!

Modifing the Choker Necklace (I like them, but I think they could be done more tastefully)
I don't like the choker necklaces that are so thick it makes you look like you have no neck.

Sheer Cardigans

Blue, still.
Dusty pink.
Rolled up jeans/trousers.
Denim shirts.
Sheer fabrics.
70's, but without looking like you're going to a decade themed party.
