- Luella-ish ruffled floral skirts. again, one of these overexposed trends that barely last one summer. and may I add.. they're S/S 08.
- bad knock-offs of Chanel quilted bags.
- Balmain-esque shoulder pads. same as with studs, random stuff people stuck into lazy outfits in order to fit in.
- Lycra shorts.
OMG this is so funny considering my friend just bedazzled her cardigans and sweaters with studs a couple of weeks ago. oh she's such a follower. Being the great friend that I am, all I said was "oh umm that's cute".

A lot of these things people are listing I'm realizing, for me, are not trends.
Although, this view is this way for me probably because I personally am not really a trend follower and never have been.

I notice trends though...

I have my own style going, which I stick to and have stuck to for years. It's definitely nice to pick and choose pieces from the latest trends that go with my style, and add them to my wardrobe.
Being hugely into and influenced by rock n roll and punk, studs, for example, have always been a part of my style.

I find it's always kind of a b*itch when the style you wear because in vogue - you see all the little trendsters and sheep I mean followers running around in things you wear all the time and have worn for ever, but they're only shoving it down their throats cause it's in...

There IS a good side, and it's that sometimes pieces that are part of your style are incredibly hard to find, so when it's suddenly in, and sold everywhere, you can grab 10 of the same thing (because you never know when it stops being in, and then no one's selling it...)

Something that's funny for me personally,
when the girls wear their Uggs before the wintertime, on days that are rainy...
Interesting.
Wearing sheep skin boots, that have fur inside, in the rain.

REAL smarties these girls huh?

Kimkhuu is hilarious. I'm wondering who died and made him/her the boss who claims random things as trendy. I have serious doubts this person even knows what trend means. I'm also curious to know if you do like anything at all. Moreover, what do you wear out? Sweat pants?

Whoa.
People are sick of Proenza Scouler bags and black lipstick?!
I will DIE happy the day I see someone in my town with Balmain-esque shoulder pads or over-the-knee boots just because the things I'm sick of seeing are Abercrombie polos and plaid dresses with faux buttons over leggings.

I can't believe people thought them to be "in" in the first place.
And yes sadly, people still wear them. I just saw someone a couple days ago wearing a black pair.
And a few weeks ago I saw someone wearing a bright yellow pair.
it was just awful.

ugh get over it!
they're hard to style, if you don't do it right you end up looking like a skank!

cowboy boots

I don't think you can say that something is not a trend. We are all from different parts of the world and some things that is trendy in for instance Denmark is not trendy in the US. I can for once say that I don't really see any UGG's around here, so therefore I don't think it's a trend. But others do, which is natural..
