I'm over everyone just wearing fitness wear! I work near a shopping plaza with a lorna jane and everyone is wearing fitness wear!! I actually enjoy seeing a woman put herself together In normal clothes.

Been seeing a lot of celebrities wearing loose sweats with heels. Don't understand that trend whatsoever.

I thought peplum has finally gone away, but no.
As soon as the weather got warmer, it seems like there's some peplum explosion. I think at least 3 girls at my classes have the same turquoise peplum shirt.

Coffee mugs while shopping. Can't you just drink your coffee and then go shopping?! Not that it's annoying to look at but it's also annoying to pick up those cups around the shop where you work at 'cause people just can't seem to find the trash can.

^Paper cups? If people wear breakable coffee mugs about the store, then yeah, that would be a quite a sight! I can totally picture a bunch of hipsters dpoing that. I mean, coffee just doesn't taste as good in paper cups.

People's taste in fragrance. I guess this is a long-running trend. Everything's so light or sterile. I feel like the only person who doesn't want to smell like fabric softener and hand sanitizer.

I can definitly think of perfumes that are light and smell like fabric softener (florals, vanilla), but sterile and smells like hand sanitizers? The perfume brand "Clean" springs to mind, but one small brand can't make a trend, surely. Could you elaborate, please? I am genuinely interested What would be a preferable alternative?

It was kind of a two-part assessment. A lot of fragrances smell light and barely detectable, while the strongest scent I notice on people is often their hand sanitizer. I sit really close to people on the train a lot, otherwise I probably wouldn't be so detailed.

^Aha. I guess I didn't differenciate between "fragrance" and "perfume" in my mind. I get what you mean now

No problem, I was being vague originally...

Even though I like some seriously heavy perfumes, I don't appreciate when people spray them directly on their clothes. It's like the scent doesn't "dry down" correctly. And one of my aunts used to spray Shalimar (a great scent) right onto her sweaters and it never washed out all the way. The smell just kept building with repeat wears. That habit gives strong perfume a really bad name. (This isn't a trend so much as a pet peeve.)

well I prefer the hand sanitizer smell over sweat or too much perfume smell.
