Trompe l'oeil...
I've had Roberta di Camerino on my mind lately... It seems impossible to find pictures of her gorgeous trompe l'oeil-dresses from the sixties. Sometimes I see them in seconhand shops, but they cost a fortune. Of course she is considered really out of fashion by now (she is dead as well) and I think thoose dresses (and some assecoirs) are the only things notable. They are so cool! It's just a question of time until this style comes back!

Love this dress so much, and have always adored R di C. I agree that this is a trend too original and fantastic to stay buried for good.
