Seen: JPG, Dolce & Gabbana, Tom Ford, Donna Karan, Chloe, Prada, Givenchy, Christian Dior, Alexander McQueen and Roberto Cavalli and other small designers.
Also Ralph Lauren sent down authentic Navajo beltes and authentic jewelry down his Fall runway.
Must have: Textured leather is the accesory statement of the season. Deluxe leathers like crocodile, lizard and snake featured strongly on bags, shoes and garbs. Macrame, faceted beads, patchworks, woven braids and Native American prints decorated accesories and clothes.
The staples: Denim, plaids and stripes, scarves (neck or on head), layering necklaces and bangles. And ofcourse, cowboy boots.
You might consider: Pairing a masculine belt with full and sheer dresses. Also Broomstick skirts.
its an absolute trend mainly for the younger target group
be prepared it seems destined to last well into fw05 and more
translated in most 'mainstream' teen, street and 'urban' labels
I for one, love this look. Maybe it's the dirty, sexy cowboy image it conjures up. This post fits perfectly with what I'm wearing today:
Fitted black western shirt.
2 year old Diesel jeans that I've had to patch/mend several times
grey Helmut Lang snakeskin pointy shoes that look like they went through the wash
leather cord tied around my neck
Yeehaw!

I hate cowboy stuff. Probably because there are a lot of bikers and 'Hogg Wild' stores around here and it just screams HICK to me. However, I do like that fur/feather bag in the fourth picture. Who did it?
Ali would love to be in any show or editorial modeling this look.

Well, I am a Texas homegirl so this look is great for me. I have a pair of really nice cowboy boots which is cute in a skinny jeans tucked in or with a white linen skirt in the fall
