i kinda like velvet is huge trend..been loving it for a while. nyfw seems that was crazy about velvet. Even Halston had mini in velvet which I absolutely adored...and Sophie Theallet little boho dress was awesome

i was already liking velvet, but now i feel it's all a bit too much. there are certain velvet looks from the collections that i really love but it's so ubiquitous that i can't help feeling it's kind of overkill and i'm going to get very sick of it very fast.

I am in love with this trend!

I actually bought a BCBG velvet turtleneck a few weeks ago. It was 40% off... and now apparently totally in style

I do think some of the pieces are a bit of a turn-off though, like the Jasmine di Milo ones...

i actually am a fan of that vionnet dress...
i think the twists and the design work well using velvet...

and i also actually like the sort of "velvet sweatshirt" look...

I must say, I'm surprised by how bad the use of velvet turned out to be in Paris. It looks so uncomfortable, especially at Chloé.
