that's the feeling that I got. MTV told her to tone down the sarcasm and be more friendly. I don't know how much influence they have on her style but that outfit felt very safe; maybe she will get more comfortable in time.

I don't know, the outfit seemed like something she would normally wear to me. I think she looked good. Also, people are calling her look "safe", but her style has never been that outrageous.

On another note.. Florecita, I think you're right about the nail polish. I love that color.

I will be tuning in every day to see check out what she's wearing but I doubt I will be able to sit still for the whole hour.

I think her first outfit is proof that she will be allowed to wear whatever she likes, which is great. Even if her ensembles don't really work in a fashion sense, they'll still be more 'Alexa' than 'MTV' which is what MTV needs right now, in my opinion.
