that's the feeling that I got. MTV told her to tone down the sarcasm and be more friendly. I don't know how much influence they have on her style but that outfit felt very safe; maybe she will get more comfortable in time.

I don't know, the outfit seemed like something she would normally wear to me. I think she looked good. Also, people are calling her look "safe", but her style has never been that outrageous.

On another note.. Florecita, I think you're right about the nail polish. I love that color.

ETA: Guys, I also set a DVR series recording for It's On. Expect screencaps of her outfits on a daily basis.

I will be tuning in every day to see check out what she's wearing but I doubt I will be able to sit still for the whole hour.

I think her first outfit is proof that she will be allowed to wear whatever she likes, which is great. Even if her ensembles don't really work in a fashion sense, they'll still be more 'Alexa' than 'MTV' which is what MTV needs right now, in my opinion.

Why are people calling her outfit safe? you hardly expected her to wear a big flouncy luella dress or something I like what she's wearing, it's something she would normally wear

She dresses on the show just as she would on the street---it's like guaranteed Alexa streetstyle shots every day! This is perfect!

i like her outfit today. she seems more comfortable today than yesterday. loved her eye makeup today.

this thread is going to get too long too soon if we talk about her show everyday. can we go onto her clothes. i feel i'll miss out on photos with all the talk of her hosting style.
