I agree...she looked disturbed when she was younger...now more serene and at peace...

Of course the work she did when she was in a more delicate state mentally was some of her best...I don't know if she could ever top Gia and Girl, Interrupted...they were just some tour de force performances...

I think she did her best work in A Mighty Heart. It's not a crazy character but it's the first time she really, really impressed me on screen. I wonder if she'll get any nominations during the award season. I don't think the film fared well in the USA.

i still want to see that movie. I agree though that I like the way she looks now but she was still very pretty back then- and I do like her hair dark!

She could get a Globe or Oscar nod if the studio pushes...I did hear great things about that performance as well. Since it was an indie I don't think they cared too much about the gross but yeah...it didn't do so well...

^ I don't think A Mighty Heart did so well due to its content. It's a very intense film especially since it's based on a true story. I do think it was the best performance of Angie's career. She definitely deserves an Oscar for it. I hope the film wins some rewards too. It seemed so true that it was more like a documentary. I don't think they could've made it any better.
