I dislike Valentino as much as the next one, but I feel like their clothes almost always look better on the celebrities and this is no exception.

Agree! I noticed the eyeshadow too, and with her huge brown eyes and short pixie cut, it all fits with this dramatically cut and printed dress. Normally I might not love this dress, but on Anne it looks lovely. So fall. So romantic. So perfect for the event, too.

The Les Misérables star has long been a loyal fan of the Italian designer, having worn Valentino on the red carpet on many occasions. Garavani and Hathaway attended a reception at the New York City Ballet together just last week.

The 29-year-old confirmed her engagement to Shulman back in November last year - showcasing a diamond engagement ring designed by her husband-to-be.

But while we know that Hathaway will say her vows in a bespoke Valentino bridal gown, no other details of the wedding have yet to emerge - the actress says she's been "too busy" to plan it. Although if she's already got the dress planned, perhaps the big day isn't too far off now.

Valentino's a great choice for Anne. Now wondering when the ceremony will be... Anne isn't just hard-working, delivering some strong performances, but I also respect that she's very low-key.
