Carey Mulligan flashes her engagement ring while leaving Chateau Marmont on Friday (January 6) in Los Angeles.

The 26-year-old actress is engaged to Mumford & Sons singer Marcus Mumford.

Carey recently sat down with the NY Times to discuss her role - and nude scene - in Shame, Steve McQueen’s flick about a sex addict, portrayed by Michael Fassbender.

“I had days of walking around New York with Steve, just talking about films and how women’s bodies are portrayed in cinema, and the absurdity of the expectation of how you’re meant to look and as an actress how you’re meant to look,” she shared.

“Mentally, I was never against the idea. I knew [my character, Sissy] didn’t go to the gym and diet, she drank and ate, and so I had fun and didn’t worry about what I looked like,” she revealed. “And by the time we were filming I felt free. It was quite fun in a way because it was the perfect way to flaunt abandon, in that scene. It was kind of liberating.”

I wonder if The Great Gatsby has finished filming. I believe DiCaprio's next project, Django Unchained is shooting soon. Either way, I hope she attends the Critics' Choice Awards on Friday!

^^^^^ I believe principal photography has finished on Gatsby, though post production being nearly a year, I can't imagine they won't be back at least once for something. Django Unchained has been pushed back to a February start from what I've heard.

I love the dress, I think it's one of the best things I've seen her in in a long while.
