Now that it's all done I must say that I don't think the dress really suited the occasion. It's absolutely beautiful and really suits her but.. She stood out like like a sore thumb..She wore bright red where everyone was in pastel :/ And I still hate her nude shoes... :/ Other than that, it's a really beautiful look but I really prefer what her mother wore..
She looks really nice though I think she should have gone with a softer colour seeing as how it is the Queen's Jubilee and not Kate tours London. Though I would say in the same breath that the Queen looked very pretty.
Please tell me I'm not seeing things... but does the pin that she's wearing have dolphins on it? I can't tell what it is exactly. I'm guessing it has some significance though, right? Kate has worn some pretty great looks in just her first year but I think in terms of wearing clothing with symbolism and whatnot the Queen does it better (think the shamrock dress she wore in Ireland awhile back), granted she's had more time to learn about such things. Princess Diana wore some pretty great outfits filled with symbolism too. I'm sure Kate will pick up a few tricks of the trade within time.
