to be honest, I first thought i was in Victoria of Sweden s thread.
I don´t like this dress at all (but i am not saying that Victoria looks super old, or dresses bad, but that dress is more her style)

Now that I see the whole dress, I think it would look better with different sleeves. But not bad overall to me.

I don't really like that dress, but I do like that she wore something that wouldn't upstage the bride.

Kate seems quite adventurous in her fascinator choices. I was flipping through my Princess Diana style books today, and however bold Diana was with fashion, she wasn't with hats! She wore traditional styles in traditional shapes in the traditional way (top of head, away from face, so people could see her). Kate though....seems to enjoy wearing non-traditional hats in non-traditional styles and in non-traditional ways (how often do we complain her hat blocks half her face?) (Though non-traditional hats also seem to more the trend now as well.)

She's at Wimbledon with William today wearing the Alexander McQueen she wore in Canada.

It's a very appropriate dress for Wimbledon but it's kind of problematic given it's so recognizable - it's easy to re-wear a simple shift dress but everyone knows they have seen this before.

Honestly, if I was going to Wimbledon I'd probably wear something like this dress too. It's classic and slightly sporty too. Perfect for a sporting event like Wimbledon. It is one of my favorite looks Kate has worn so it's nice to see it again. Does anyone know if this the first time she's worn this dress since last summer?

Yeah, it is the first time she's wore again since the tour. I'm glad to see it again too. I'm glad she's recycling her tour wardrobe.

I'm glad she chose to wear the Alexander McQueen knit again. It's a lovely dress, fits the occasion and is one of her pricier dresses, so it's nice to see her wear it more than once.

The Duchess of Cambridge attended her first public appearance as the Countess of Strathearn as she attended a service in Edinburgh today that would see her husband given the highest honour possible in Scotland.
Wearing a pale yellow coat dress by Emilia Wickstead, Kate joined the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh and the Princess Royal for the Thistle Service, which will see Prince William installed as Knight of the Thistle.
The event at the city's St Giles' Cathedral was witnessed by hundreds of invited guests.
Thousands of people crowded on to the Royal Mile to catch a glimpse of William and Kate - known as the Earl and Countess of Strathearn while in Scotland - and other royals as they made their way from the Signet Library, across Parliament Square and into the cathedral.
