Pretty cool she has that covered, I'll bet the Scots are thrilled to see it! I have stuff in my family tartan, too- it is a big deal over there to wear it...

I like how much Kate pays attention to details...I wonder if and when she is a 'full time' Royal if she will need help with her fashion issues, having almost daily events...?

What a great colour on her. This style of coat suits her. I wonder what fabric it is.

The colour and cut of the coat really ages her. I have never been a fan of this hat either, I wish she would wear one with a little more dimension and style.

On a happier note, I love the dress she wore to Wimbledon!

Of course someone advised her on the tartan - it would be pretty bad to go to a ceremony inducting him into that order and wear a different family tartan to it!

I like the style of the coat but it seemed too big for her and thus came across as frumpy. But overall, I think she looked nice.
