The dress coat at the Order of the Thistle gathering was ok. It wasn't anything special. It could have used some embellishments like buttons or embroidery. Or she could have had a coat made in her tartan colors, that would have been really cool.

I love the Joseph look, it's perfect. I hate that sailor girl look though, it's not at all chic to me, but rather just corny. Also, seeing Pippa's heavy eyeliner reminds me that I'm glad Kate has softened hers, so bad.

Emilia Wickstead has said that the yellow dress took three weeks to make. It may have a lot of panels to it, but i dont think it looks all that complicated - and i dont like the waffle weave look to it.

i'm hoping that the public response to the dress will lead to kate dropping the designers wares. i dont think they are all that good and are exhorbitantly expensive.

anyone else agree with me?

Agree- she always looks great in Joseph and (IMHO) almost no one looks good with that heavy make up, especially when they are so pretty to begin with...
