I think the whole thing is leather. It's definitely a Balenciaga from A/W 05, probably this one:

I love her style, she's not trying too hard, doesn't overaccessorize, and Godbless her gorgeous, Gallic bones. Looking at the photos here reminds me to wear less makeup, not bother with the mirrors and polished image so much, but, lord, does it ever make one crave a Gauloise.

I think she injured her spine snowboarding a few months ago, but must be okay now because that last picture of her above was taken only a couple weeks ago at the Balenciaga show and she is walking!

I love Charlotte...and I agree with what (I think) bonapartep said about her role in Jane Eyre. I am a huge Bronte fan and was so happy with her casting as Jane. If you look only at the surface, its easy to see why she's passed over. Her type of beauty is a little more difficult.
But go a little deeper, see the grace and the fantastic smile, and her air of seriousness...that's the fantastic part.

She reminds me very much of Audrey Hepburn in these...the harsh hair, the highlighted neck, the wide open eyes...they all recall the Vogue photoshoots with Audrey that are so stark and so beautiful.
