In their seven short days in New York, the charming Courtin-Clarins girls—sisters Claire and Virginie, and their cousins, sisters Prisca and Jenna—hosted a Clarins/FEED event at Jeffrey for FNO, attended a luncheon to celebrate their nomination to the International Best Dressed list, hung at Le Bain (“I like the fact that there’s a swimming pool in the night club,” commented Prisca approvingly), and karaoked their hearts out at the Barneys fête for Carine Roitfeld. “We started with ‘Baby Love,’ and then I sang ‘Empire State of Mind.’ I tried Beyoncé’s ‘Crazy in Love,’ but it was too fast!” confessed Virginie. They took in some of New York Fashion Week’s most buzzed-about shows, naturally, and came away coveting the bags at Reed Krakoff, Prabal Gurung’s sheer-backed dresses, the architectural shoes at Rodarte, Altuzarra’s belts, and Tommy’s multi-print high-heeled loafers (“amazzzzing,” purred Claire). When Vogue asked their secret to looking so flawless on so little sleep, each fille Courtin-Clarins promptly emptied her purse to reveal a smattering of their (banged-up, well-used) beauty staples. Here are their personal snapshots from one whirlwind week in the city.
