She needs some tips on winter dressing. And that promotional outfit was awful. With those hips/thighs she should have worn a gorgeous dress and heels 50's style. I can say that too as we have the same figure.

Stupid english weather is ruining my summer wardrobe!!!!!And i think the outfit she wore to launch her perfume was something she had no say in, its the same as the promotional posters and obviously someone in her team thought that it was a good idea......wrong!!!!! It makes her look about 2 stone heavier than she actually is!! Nice chanel though!! ![]()

Ok trans-seasonal dressing, when the calender says one thing and the weather says another. I just think she looked so nice at her birthday and on holiday and the promotional look was worse than just blah because it made her look bad not just insipid. I'm sure she must have some say over her outfit! P.S What Chanel? ![]() Last edited by Quality Blonde : 15-07-2007 at 02:29 AM. |

Coleen: “I’m too busy to pick a wedding dress”
She shot to fame as the schoolgirl other half of footballer Wayne Rooney. But with her own scent about to hit the shelves and a new TV show, Coleen McLoughlin is now a star in her own right. Coleen, 21, tells us how she would go back to Weight Watchers to get in shape for her wedding next year, and why there are no baby plans just yet. Over the last three years, you’ve earned millions and now you’re about to launch a perfume and TV career. How does it feel to be one of the wealthiest young ladies in the world? It’s great. I never imagined I’d be where I am ?now. It’s every girl’s dream! It hasn’t happened overnight though. A lot of the projects that are ?now coming about have been bubbling away for ?the past four or five years – it’s been a gradual thing. Obviously, in the beginning, it was Wayne who was in the limelight, now my stuff is really coming together. How thrilled are you to have your own TV show, Coleen’s Real Women, starting next year? It’s all so exciting. This will be my first project for ITV. I’m working closely with Endemol who came up with the idea. The plan is to find a group of real women who have never done any modelling, but would quite like to give it a go. The final eight will then be put forward to model for a professional advertising campaign. Tell us about the perfume. How did you come to decide on your own scent? I wanted something fresh smelling that hadn‘t been done before. Something you can wear every day. I flew to France to test lots of different scents and picked my favourite four. I came back home and let friends and family smell the samples. Everyone loved the same one – even Wayne! With your career going so well, have you had much chance to think about starting a family with Wayne yet? No – especially with so many big projects. I’m also signed with ITV for two years and I want that to work out well. To be honest, Wayne and I don’t talk about having children at the moment. We’re still really young and our main priority is getting married. That comes first. That’s next year, isn’t it? Can you tell us more about the big day? The plans are very much up in the air just now. I’ve been so busy that I haven’t had time to think. I don’t even know what kind of dress I want. I think I’ll end up trying a load of different designs on first though. I want to get it right. Do you and Wayne want a big do? I don’t know. I liked what I did for my 21st, maybe we’ll work on some of the same ideas. It wasn’t too formal and people could eat what they wanted – we had a mix of Italian, Chinese and Indian. Talking of food, do you think you’ll be going on a diet for the big day? If I put on a lot of weight then I’d think about it. I’ve used Weight Watchers before and lost nearly a stone. It’s great because it doesn’t rule any foods out. Having a bit of everything you fancy is the healthiest way to lose weight and keep it off. All eyes will be on you at the wedding as always – does fame ever frighten you? No, not really. I’m good at keeping things in perspective. And if I ever stepped out of line my family and friends would tell me. I never stop valuing the really good things in life, like a night out with the girls or a day out shopping. Are you nervous about presenting your new TV show? I suppose I’ll get butterflies when the cameras start, but a little of that is good I think. Luckily, I’ve already had a taste of television with programmes like Trevor McDonald and GMTV, so hopefully it won’t be too different to that. What other presenters do you admire? I like Cat Deeley and Tess Daly. They’re always so relaxed and look like they’re having a laugh instead of being false – that’s how I want to be. Do you miss the days when you could walk down the street and be invisible? It can be hard being in the public eye, but it’s part of this life. I’m lucky to be able to go back home to Liverpool, where I can walk down the street and say hi to a neighbour and them not think anything of it. Who do you look up to stylewise? No one really but I’m always interested in looking at fashions and who’s wearing what. I like to dress for myself and wouldn’t copy anyone. You should dress to suit your own style and body shape. You’re the face of George at Asda clothing range. What should we look out for in the new collection? I’ve just been to their autumn/winter show and there are some lovely pieces. I wore a gorgeous gold sequin dress for that with black opaque tights. There are great coats in lots of colours. Blue is going to be very big. What else will be must-have looks next season? Things are going to get very glam with lots of metallics. Layering is going to be huge. Look out for masculine-style clothes too, like tailored trousers and jackets teamed with feminine blouses. If you had to choose between a pair of new shoes or a kiss from Wayne, what would it be? A kiss with Wayne, any day. Do you think fame and wealth have changed you? Not really. I still have the same friends and see my family lots. Wayne and I are lucky with all the other things we have in life but we just try to look on those as a bonus. Family, friends and home are most important. source:community.livejournal.com/football_wife Coleen McLoughlin arrives for a TV show in London, UK ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
