Crediting and Resizing Images

Can anybody tell me how to post a small picture link? I tried to copy a pic from another post, but when I put it into my post it was about 40 times the size it had appeared in the original post!

don't copy and past the image, that's hotlinking and steals bandwith

save it to your computer and upload it as an attachment

your pics probably go down in a line because you are pushing "return/enter" after posting the image codes... to have the images next to each other either just press the space key or post the next image code right after with no space. you can also press "preview post" to adjust the way the images are shown on the page

That said please remember "return/enter" key is your friend when you post medium to large images so other users of tfs don't have to scroll across

Maybe this is the wrong forum but what is going on with thumbnail pics at the moment? They cannot be resized no matter what I try, despite the fact that they have the size of the actual picture attached to them which is definately not a thumbnail!

^^these posts should go in the member support section--there is a thread in there to specifically bring up problems you've been having.

This change is a result of the upgrade and changes that are being implemented... obviously there are a few kinks that still need to be worked out

^^the pictures you get from tfs threads should be credited within the thread already to their respective source, so that original source is what should be credited
