The Donmar Warehouse has opened booking for Eddie's production of Richard II which runs from Dec 1 to Feb 4. If you have the opportunity, go see. The Donmar is a wonderfully intimate space and in so many cases these actors are practically on top of you (not literally, although that so nearly happened to me last year with Charlie Cox), I'll no doubt be there a lot on my free ticket kick, so I hope to see some of you there!

Only advance tickets from the initial block are sold out, there are always day seats and returns available. Often the box office will be able to help out with the ticket situation.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's not too late for me to purchase a ticket. I think I will be heartbroken if I don't get the opportunity to see him in this production.

I didn't know he had a thread here! I first saw him in The Good Shepherd by DeNiro and I thought he was brilliant. One of the most talented of the famous "Brit Pack" IMO. I tried to book online for Richard II but seems like I'll have to call in order to book or just go there. Hopefully it's not sold out yet and I will be able to see it. So glad to see fellow fans

Thank you YoninahAliza and littlepaperstars for the infos!

Yeah, I thought it was weird that there were still tickets left since I bought them the minute they went on sale and couldn't even get the good ones... Anyway, if you're located in London I would still go and try, maybe someone has a spare one or some last minute cancellations.

Ok I'm setting the record straight on this; buying online/through phone booking is sold out. However, wait til the show is open and if you go to the theatre box office in person on the morning of the show you want to see, (Donmar opens at 10am, you will need to be there at least an hour before that and you can't actually buy the tickets until 10.30am) they will always have a number of day seats (Donmar releases a minimum of 10 tickets, only 2 per person) and standing tickets available for every performance, except for press & special performances. They tend to only take credit/debit cards so beware & check the Donmar policy before you go. It's only the pre-booking that is sold out, and taking the risk & buying day or standing tickets tends to be much cheaper & you don't have to pay the extortionate booking fee either.
