I really don't like the sunnies she's wearing in post #7..looks like a black sticking plaster over her eye IMO

Well, she's not much of a singer anymore. She had a single a long time ago and a 2005 album, and that's it (aside from movie/series theme songs, which a lot of Chinese actresses do).
She's a bit of a power woman because she manages her own career (and most actors in China belong to companies), she really liked a role so she did it for free, etc.

Thanks for posting all those Dior pictures, she looks absolutely gorgeous. I'm not a huge fan of her, but she's really photogenic.
