Crouch, Clancy and Wenger hit Paris February 13th, 2008 · 3 Comments Premier League stars head to the city of romance for Valentines Day  In a pre-Valentines Day surprise, Peter Crouch whisked his WAG off to Paris yesterday. Pete tried to fit in the fashion capital with a trendy scarf, while Abbey Clancy donned a thoroughly French black and white striped jumper. She must’ve left her beret and string of onions in the hotel.  Meanwhile, Arsene Wenger was pictured stealing Crouch’s robo-dance outside the city’s famous Crazy Horse Cabaret. The show, which involves fully nude female dancers, will be welcoming a performance from Pamela Anderson tonight - is Mr Wenger practising his moves in a bid to woo her? Who could resist!

Steven Gerrard's wife Alex Curran goes wet and wild in Dubai
Pampered WAG Alex Curran takes time out of her heavy sunbathing schedule to cool off from the hot Dubai sun at a water park. Alex has left her husband Steven Gerrard and children Lilly-Ella, three; and Lexie, 20 months, at home in Merseyside while she enjoys a girls' holiday in the Middle East with Jude Cisse, wife of ex-Liverpool star Djibril and Thierry Henry's former wife Claire. Another day lounging by the pool and yet another bikini for pampered WAG Alex Curran who flaunted her ample curves on her luxury holiday. While her footballer husband Steve Gerrard was busy training back in England, Alex topped up her tan in Dubai with a gaggle of WAG friends.  The 25-year-old stripped down to her floral bikini and splashed about in the swimming pool of the £2,000-per-night villa, with a personal butler at her disposal. Alex was holidaying with a pregnant Jude Cisse, wife of ex-Liverpool star Djibril and Thierry Henry's former wife Claire. While the England defender clowned with Chelsea pals in Surrey, friends of his devastated missus voiced fears that her weight has plunged to a terrifying SIX STONE. The 24-year-old GIRLS ALOUD pin-up has been refusing to eat and chain-smoking on a Thai island as she fades into a sad shadow of the pop world beauty. She fled her marital home three weeks ago after The Sun revealed Ashley had cheated on her. And in the first pictures taken since then, her agony was clear to see. Last night a fellow guest at her resort called The Sun and revealed how she heard the anguished star tell a pal in a phone call: “Don’t treat me like a victim. I’m not a f****** victim, I’m a grown woman. “People email me, ‘Poor you, poor thing’. F***. “How can I trust my fella again? He’s damaged goods. I knew something was wrong when I confronted him about some woman and he made up some s***** excuse rather than deny it outright.” The holidaymaker said: “Cheryl is clearly devastated — she looked stick thin. That bastard Ashley Cole has a lot to answer for.” Worried bandmates NICOLA ROBERTS and KIMBERLEY WALSH are protecting Cheryl as she decides whether to divorce her man. And they have told pals of their fears over her weight. The trio have spent a week relaxing in a Ł2,000-a-day villa in the grounds of a luxury resort in Thailand. Maids and private chefs tend to their requirements — while spa therapists visit to provide daily beauty treatments. The girls’ manager has even paid Ł300 for a Buddhist “spiritual guru” to visit the villa and help Cheryl with her grief. The holidaymaker revealed that the stars’ only outing has been a daily walk down to the beach jetty — where they sit and wave at the Thai fishermen who sail past. A close pal of the girls last night said Cheryl had asked Nicola and Kimberley to join her in the tropical paradise — telling them: “Please help me to completely vanish.” The friend added: “The realisation that Ashley has betrayed her so badly suddenly hit Cheryl hard. “She told her closest pals that he might as well have ripped her heart out and stamped on it. “Ashley’s cheating was so painful that, for two weeks, Cheryl practically locked herself in a rented apartment, sobbing herself to sleep. “She tried to take her mind off things by filming the video for the band’s new song Can’t Speak French — but the effort to be upbeat drained her even more. “Cheryl couldn’t eat and her weight plummeted so rapidly and significantly that her ribs and hip bones started to jut sharply out. Because of the stress, Cheryl’s chain-smoking her way through 40 a day. “The girls have been stirring most days at 10am — when they go and lie by their villa’s pool or have a spa treatment. “Nicola and Kimberley are trying to keep the mood light by playing R&B and dance tracks on their CD player. They have been dancing around Cheryl singing the words to Umbrella by RIHANNA and Wishing On A Star by BEYONCE.  Joking ... Friends say Cheryl is still agonising over a definite decision about her marriage since learning of Ashley’s affair with hairdresser Aimee Walton and hush-money payoffs to Brooke Healy and Coralie Robinson. A band insider said: “She knows walking out on Ashley will be the making of her. She’ll get a Ł4million divorce payout and can walk tall for standing up to a footballer. “But she does love him — and you can’t ignore emotions.” Shocked Cheryl spent the fortnight following our revelations shut off from the world in a rented North London apartment. A friend said: “She got herself in such a state. She did not leave the building once. But by the time she returns from LA she will have made a decision about her future.” We exposed Ashley’s cheating after pretty blonde Aimee, 22, told of their “wild sex romp”. She revealed how the footballer slapped her bottom so hard that his platinum wedding ring left a mark — and how he interrupted their sex session to be sick. Mum-of-one Aimee also told how he made absurd claims that Cheryl “didn’t mind” him cheating — as long as he kept it a secret.  Showing off ... he practises skillCheryl initially vowed to stand by her man after he convinced her Aimee’s story was lies. She said: “I’ve been through an emotional rollercoaster, but I’m determined to be strong. Ashley’s a wonderful husband and we ARE in love. I won’t let this woman destroy our marriage.” But Cheryl was said to be “stunned” when other women came forward to reveal they too had slept with Ashley while he was married. She now plans to remain in hiding until the girls fly to LA. Meanwhile Ashley was pictured larking around during a Chelsea training session yesterday morning. WAG Watch: Elen Rives Does LFW Thursday, February 14, 2008  Elen Rives, a big fan of London Fashion Week, has been spotted front row at Betty Jackson and Nicole Fahri looking surprisingly low key. Few things make us happier than seeing Elen express her ‘unique’ sense of fashion in the general public, but alas, t’was not to be. Perhaps she wanted to save all her energy for the liberal use of fake bake and/or lifting that gigantic rock on her hand rather than making a style statement. We are predictably devastated.
