WAGs Coleen McLoughlin and Sheree Murphy lead the field at Aintree Ladies' Day

After leading the style stakes yesterday, Alex Curran handed over the baton today to WAGs Coleen McLoughlin and Sheree Murphy at Aintree Ladies' Day.

All eyes were on the Real Women host as she arrived at the event in a flirty floral Balenciaga dress, towering blue stilettos and a diamond braclet - a recent gift from fiancé Wayne Rooney.

She said: "I wasn't going to wear this but with the weather I thought I would go a bit short."
Harry Kewell's wife opted for a simple black frock, tights and matching shoes.
They looked decidedly demure compared to fellow revellers at the Grand National race meeting.

Mr Flanagan said he expects a record turnout on Friday night, with 5,000 revellers through Newz's doors.
Every seat in the 600-capacity bar has been reserved for Ladies' Day.
"They'll be leaving before the second to last race is over," he said.
"It used to be just the Friday but because of the demand for the extra stands there's a good Thursday and Saturday. We're expecting a record week."

Coleen McLoughlin put her wedding preparations on hold today as she nipped to her favourite shop Cricket in Liverpool on a mission to find something to wear for her birthday and also for Ladies Day at the Aintree races on Friday. Coleen spent three hours in Cricket, mostly after the shop had been shut at the end of the day. She had the run of the place with only owner Justine Mills and stylist Lorraine McCulloch to help her in her search. The pressure is on to find a killer dress after she was named most influential fashion role model by Look magazine last week. She is also a judge in the Best Dressed competition at Aintree, as she has been in previous years. Coleen was photographed as she paid for the big pile of clothes on the counter she had picked out. She pulled a shocked face that was probably due to hearing the total for the garments! As soon as Coleen spotted the photographers outside she realised that her choice of what to wear for the big day at the races could be blown so someone quickly brought shutters down to keep the secret from the prying lenses! 31st march

The slender mother-of-two proved she's not immune to the occasional unflattering moment after having her hair done at a beauty salon in Liverpool.

The fashion-obsessed WAG, who was dressed down in a brown velour tracksuit, inadvertently put her wobbly tummy on show as she raced back to her car today.

"Getting the windows done was a nightmare," said Neville.
"We tried to get them repaired, but they were so fragile no one would touch them, so in the end we found a firm in London able to create some exact replicas and they were approved by English Heritage and they do look wonderful.
"It will always be a very special to us, our first home together."

What was once a snooker room is now a kids' toy zone and what was once the garage has been given over to be a huge climbing/soft play area for son Harvey, seven and four-year-old Isabella - who even have their own mini quad bikes to use inside.
"It felt more like a church inside, all hard floors and lots of panelling and absolutely freezing but it still had all the original features and we just loved it," added Neville, who hopes to sell the property as soon as possible through Harrogate estate agents Knight Frank.
Neville, who was playing for Manchester United when he bought Sunnyside House, is now living in Beetham Tower, the tallest residential building in Europe, in Manchester city centre.
He paid more than £1million for three apartments on the 44th, 45th and 46th floors of the complex and transformed them into a triplex because of the difficulty he had in travelling from Crawshawbooth to training in Liverpool.
"We found we were spending so long in the cars with me commuting to work at Everton and Julie taking the children to school that we had little home life," he continued.
"We converted three apartments into one space at Beetham and it works really really well."
