He worked as the Phantom b/c of his dual sinister/seductive quality (which helped when he played Dracula as well. Though he has a great voice I'm not sure if it was quite stong enough for the role. The Phantom is suppose to be able to hypnotize people using his beautiful singing voice... I love when he uses his normal speaking voice- that scottish brogue

Has anyone seen that movie (I forget what it's called) where this single mother tells her son that his father is a sailor (really he abandoned them or something)? He really wants to see his Dad so the mom hires Gerard Butler to pretend to be the boy's father, and they bond. Does anyone know the name of this film?

i thinkkkk its called dear frankie. my best friend is absolutly obsessed with gerald butler and she is going to be very excited when i tell her about this thread
