The dress Jenny designed was adorable - I was surprised that it actually looked cute on her. I hope her designing becomes more part of the show, it might make me actually like Little J.

Same here, I actually liked Jenny last night.. the designer aspect of her personality makes her more interesting and gives her some depth other than just 'little sister Jenny'..

I was so happy that Gossip Girl was back on! Except for some dissapointments, because I've read the book, I expect certain things to happen, or certain aspects to still be apart of the gossip girl I've grown up with. But other than that it was great. I loved Blair's outfit as she stepped off the bus, and I loved her dress for the white party. We'll just have to see what happens next. Hopefully Chuck will end up gay with his monkey like he's meant to be. Oh and I'm not digging the Blair outfit with the many patterns, if I saw her wearing that I would not think of it as designer, but rather as a diaster.

it's not really fair to compare the books and the show as they are so different...

chuck and blair is a huge focus this season (or more) because they are almost the OneTrueParing of the show...

Nate and Blair has practically been wiped... (which was a major part of the books) so i think they are just 2 separate things.

one thing that i wished they would have kept in the show was the nate/blair relationship. i mean every book was all about blair dating nate or blair and nate breaking up. i don't really mind other differences as much but just this major detail i wish they had

i know...it's sad because they're pretending NB never really existed on the show...

but i guess that's the direction the show's chosen to take, so i just think of the books as a separate world altogether.
