I just subscribed at GOOP. I love Gwyneth, and oddly enough, I'm in her thread again after not looking at her style for a while because I had a dream about her last night!
 It was a strange dream, I wont divulge as its so bizarre...anyone have her entire appearance on Oprah? She looks terrific! And glad Madonna was able to help her get out of her post-partum slump. |

I just watched her show with Mario Battali that I had taped, On the Road...Spain or whatever. I thought she came across a lot more down to earth on it and actually kind of sweet. Her style was very patrician, hunter wellies and turtlenecks. Although no chance in hell did any of them on the show walk more than a mile on the pilgrimage hike they did.

^Thanks for posting, Leigh. Wow, Gwyneth just does not seem inspired in that second video. In all probability, she doesn't really care about Tod's--she's most likely more concerned about is getting paid $%#@! for a couple days' work in a country like Italy--but she could at least put on the charm a bit more to hoodwink us into thinking she's passionate about the collaboration (and hence, we should be excited to buy Tod's, as a result). She's an actress, for crying out loud!

Maybe she's tired of answering all the same repetitive questions. She could be physically exhausted also, or something private could be tugging at her. She's not doing cartwheels, so what? She's a calm, take-it-easy, relaxed individual...who wants to see gushing and acting not herself? She's not taking on a role with Tod's, just being a model, so its a bit haphazard to call her unpassionate. She just shows her excitement in a relevant, nonchalant way, not act fake.
