I loved him in Warrior and am excited to see him as Tom Buchanan in Baz Lurhmann's The Great Gatsby.

Joel Edgerton Joins Lynne Ramsay's Western 'Jane Got A Gun' With Michael Fassbender & Natalie Portman
This project already had us at "a Lynne Ramsay western." Toss in Natalie Portman and Michael Fassbender and damn, just tell us when it's ready. But it seems the good news just keeps on coming for "Jane Got A Gun."
The rising Joel Edgerton, who features in this month's "Zero Dark Thirty" and next summer's "The Great Gatsby," is now coming on board Ramsay's next picture. Hell, yeah. The story will follow Jane Hammond (Portman), a good girl married to one of the worst baddies in town. When her husband Bill (Edgerton) turns against his own gang, the vicious Bishop Boys, and returns home barely alive with eight bullets in his back, Jane decides to grab a gun and take matters into her own hands. As the relentless leader John Bishop gears up for revenge, Jane’s best hope for her family’s survival rests with her old love Dan Frost (Fassbender) – a gunslinger whose hatred for Bill is only slightly overshadowed by his love for Jane.
So, Ramsay taking on a the traditionally male driven genre with a female lead, in what sounds like a gritty as hell flick? **** yes. Production is gearing up with lensing aiming to start in early 2013, and let's hope that the director moves right into her "Moby Dick"- esque sci-fi project right after. It is really great to have Lynne Ramsay back.
We're anointing a best dressed gent every day during the Cannes Film Festival, that annual celebrity pilgrimage to the French Riviera, and our first winner is Mr. Joel Edgerton. The Great Gatsby kicked off this year's film festivities and Edgerton wasted no time proving that he understands almost-summer coastal style as much as he does old school red carpet elegance. In both rigs (worn for a photocall on the left and opening night screening on the right) the actor nails effortless style and even better, made it all actually seem effortless. At an event where so many guys have to get dressed up, but few look comfortable doing so, Edgerton looks like he's wearing his clothes, not the other way around.
