he looks good

i'm curious about the "brief interviews with hideous men" project...
i bought the book of short stories back in 2005 but have never been able to get through it...
i may try again some time soon though..

on another note..
it's always interesting to see what he does with his hair in real life
i'm so used to seeing the sometimes awkward and disheveled hair of Jim on the office
no problem

He always looks dashing on the red carpet And his skit with Amy Poehler was hilarious!

I agree with your hair comment. In real life he does like to shake things up and do his hair differently than "Jim," which is always interesting to see!

okay, so as someone who obsessively comments in this thread -- i finally met him at sundance! everything i thought about him is true: charming, charismatic, handsome, witty, SO humble, hilarious, etc.

brief interviews with hideous men was okay.... i read the book before, so i knew what to expect. it's kind of an "unfilmable" script (super choppy), but he did the best he could. he was SO passionate about the project though, and i think it was most important to him that he actually finish this movie and do it with pride. he had nothing to be ashamed of... and surprisingly, he was in the movie. he said he put himself in last minute because one of his actors backed out and they had neither the time nor money to do another casting. his performance is great. he should be really proud.

i'm sure it will be re-edited before it's out anywhere, but i still think people should see it.

so yes, that is my fan girl story...

yes, thanks for the info marni!

i'm so jealous that you got to meet him! and it's great to hear that he's essentially everything you thought he would be..
he seems like such a sweetheart

the fact that he liked that book enough to make a movie out of it is basically the only thing that's compelling me to want to finish it
