Especially during the pret-a-porter FWs, after seeing so many boring runways during the first three weeks, Chanel is just the right sight for my eyes!

i think it will still be a spectacle.. all that gilt and and ornate marble..

it reminds me of St Petersburg actually, perhaps he's continuing with that bourgeoisie theme? (though of course Chanel is nothing if not bourgeois anyway)

it does seem a little more scaled down, more intimate perhaps?

NOOOOO! It's hideous!

Karl had better cover that room with some white paint, and pronto, because I do not want a set anything like Paris-Moscow's.

But, I'm still excited. Less than four days, ten hours until the show...

Look at this...I just stumbled across this- never saw this show at all (Thank God for UTube)!! This was done in a palazzo with the models walking up and down right in front of the people- very cool!

Imagine having the dresses inches away from you during the show!

He was really in a snarky state of mind then... Some amazing statements there..
I kept thinking of the great interview he did with Charlie Rose on PBS, which I think was done in 2004- he was like a different person by then!

Big News: The fantastic, and, as far as I can tell, never available, BBC Documentary "Secret World of Couture" is on PBS here in the States on Tuesday night/ Wednesday morning, 2:50 AM in New York but different elsewhere I'm sure. If you've never seen it, it is beyond!! And of course, The Karl is in it all over the place...

I think the new set can turn out great, depending on the concept of the whole show... I wouldn't mind bourgeois theme again, I liked Paris-Moscow.

Those shoes were horrible...

I'm expecting a very quiet and somber show on Tuesday... After his "New Modesty" and "Bling is Dead" proclamations, I don't see how it could be otherwise...
