They're not the only celebrity couple to do it. Most of the celebs that are "caught" by the paps actually have them on speed dial. It's just the business.

^I'd be surprised if they weren't calling the paparazzi.....it just doesn't seem realistic (or logical) that these two would be followed from LA to Sydney to New Orleans. Even Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt manage to avoid the paparazzi a lot of the time....sometimes for months at a time.... not that Kate isn't lovely and beautiful, but I think the constant paparazzi coverage helps keep her 'relevant' in many ways.

As Lydia says....it strikes me that this is just one way to conduct 'business' and this is, after all, a career and business for Kate.

I'm surprised that Michael Polish would ok with having a photog along given that he seems to pride himself on being an indie's indie filmmaker.

As for her ugly shoes, I've never cared for them, but somehow I like that. We already know she styled often, and so having the ugly shoes, somehow makes her seem a wee bit (but not that much) authentic. (Which isn't to say her personal style isn't hers, but the vibe I get from this thread is that she does use her stylist more often then the typical celebrity does.)

They don't travel with a photographer! Paparazzi pay people at restaurants (especially valet), airlines, hotels, film crews, to let them know the whereabouts of celebs. Truth is, most celebs don't call paps and don't like the intrusion. There are a few who have paps on speed dial - mostly celebrities from reality television. Ugh!
I'm not wild about the shoes either but I love how happy she looks and I love her gorgeous smile!
