I agree that different colour shoes would have gone better. But then I was trying to work out what colour shoes would have worked. And I couldn't really come up with anything terribly suitable. I thought have the usual gold or silver, but couldn't really see them going. Red would be too much. Something completely contrasting like bright blue? I don't really think that would work either.
I suppose you could get shoes dyed to match the dress exactly, but I don't think that would be the best look. Maybe a nice pair of nude, peep toe slingbacks? |

i am sure even white would have looked better. the coral color is just such a summer color, and the black just doesnt match the feel of the outfit. the coral dress and the gold jewelry complement each other, but not the black

i'd go with nude/beige pumps.when in doubt always wear beige,it's lke an extension of the leg,blends in perfectly
