I adore the dress. In person it must be amazing. I bet it's pretty heavy too.
I even like the shoes and the undone hair, it's the blue eyeshadow that just kills me.  Overall I say she did well.  Her bf is yummy and has amazing hair. She found a boy as pretty as her.  |

^ exactly. i mean, the dress is lovely, but it is not a part of the "superhero" theme. i mean... as odd as katie holmes and kate mara would have looked outside of that gala, they at least nailed the theme, while bos, not so much.

I don't agree. I think she fitted in quite well. She reminds me of some comics' superhero from Sin City or of the charater from Batman.
I think most of these people at the Gala did not fit in because putting a black prom dress does not make you a superhero. Above all I think she looked absolutely gorgeous I really love her dress. |

in a way im glad she didnt try because most of them just looked hideous...
but saying she did fit the theme is just funny to me and im really disappointed, not that she didnt look good but she didnt look like herself...she looks like shes wearing a costume and it could have at least fitted the theme
