I just flipped through my new In Style tonight. The article keeps mentioning how elegant and chic she is and how she has so much style. I love her clothes and would kill for her wardrobe, but this all seems so weird to me still... I am not used to her being so fashionable. Pre-Tom, she was not all that stylish...though to be fair, she was younger. I would love to raid her closet! I'd just have to hem all the pants.

^yep..absolutely! she has the best handbags and shoes..and coats, i'd love to check out her wardrobe!!
you can clearly see the 'making of a celebrity' here..pre Tom, she wasn't in fashion shows or mags, she was so casual and Joey like..but she has always been very ambitious. Tom came in with the money, fame and contacts and turned her into an A list overnight..however, only as his 'wife' because as an actress she hasn't done anything (movies!theatre!) to receive that role .

and the style is the work of the stylist..she is so so gorgeous, but she needs a fresher, more younger look. She has been looking outstanding at functions lately, in Armani and Lanvin, etc.. She's growing up to be a beautiful woman, but this is clearly all thanks to her make over, i still fall over when i see photos of her Pre Tom. I am interested to see how her style develops. I also would like to see a more casual look from her, i feel like she's always so dressed up lately..i miss those candids of her at soccer games, or even one of her driving or buying groceries like every other celeb out there...
i wonder if she wears tracksuit pants at home or is she still head to toe in designer?

After reading that article, it strikes me how different of a person she seems now than she was 5 years ago. I always thought of her as the timid, sweet, camera shy girl, and now she's all confident and attention loving. Its really crazy to me! I like that appears more confident now though.

She seems confident and stunning in the photo shoots but every time I see her in the red carpet her “smile”, her posture looks so fake. She looks so uncomfortable and unnatural. She is obviously trying but still is unnatural. She doesn’t have that natural elegance; she may have a wonderful wardrobe but her postures don’t help her.

^yep that's true, she's beautiful but her postures are terrible, although, again they have improved lots since she's with Tom. she should learn from SJP, she has amazing posture.

I LOVED her article,this is clearly a woman who has her life in control and not vice versa. She came across like a happy,sweet woman with head stong on her shoulders,after reaidng this i like her even more.

I respect your opinions; this is what I see in the pictures of the red carpet that’s all. I like her since Dawson’s creek and I’ve seen how she has change during these years, her style has definitely improve and now that she has the opportunity of having that wonderful wardrobe I just wish to see her more confident that’s all. But that’s me, the one that thinks that she need to be more confident, others think the opposite that she is self secure and I respect that. I’m giving my opinion about Katie style in the red carpet; I’m not trying to change your opinions. I enter here because I like her and I like to read what you think.
