Sure but that won't change my opinion about her looking way better in leather jackets and with messy hair.

yes, thanks for reminding us.
It's hard to do when the character is strong but you're right.. something that bothers me is when actors (SJP ) realise the influence of a character and take it to their real life too, their style, mannerisms, opinions.. it's a little sad, I think.
Kaya's style comes as surprising to those who've only seen her on the show but I actually like that she seems quite discreet and likes to dress according to her age, it's not over the top or trying to be hipster or look older, I'm not a fan, but I appreciate it.

^yeah i agree. The outfit isn't bad, it suits her age. But the hair color is too dark. It doesn't look natural at all.

I much prefer Effy's look but I think Kaya's girly style of dressing suits her, even though it's nothing groundbreaking. I watched an interview with the Skins cast and she was very young and girlish - laughing a lot. Nothing at all like Effy.

In a way, I'm almost glad she dresses like the average teenager and seems to behave like one too. Sometimes, I look at other young teen actresses on the red carpet like Taylor Momsen, and think it's a little sad that they're fifteen but look like they're in their mid-twenties, with copious amounts of make-up and a style of dressing that makes them look like they're trying too hard to grow up too fast.
