She’s always a beautiful sight to behold, and Keira Knightley brightened up the set of “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” last night (June 11).

The “Pirates of the Caribbean” babe told the story of how her parents made a deal before agreeing to bring her into the world.

“She [my mom] was acting, she have given up acting, she got the most horrendous stage fright so she couldn’t continue. So she’d given up acting and she wanted another baby and they couldn’t afford it.”

“She wanted to be writer, so my dad said to her, ‘If you write a play and sell it we can have another baby.’ So she wrote the play and sold it and it became a big hit, and I’m the baby!”

As for working with Steve Carell on “Seeking a Friend at the End of the World,” Keira said, “He is an amazing man. He’s just the best. He is so wonderful.”

Haha YES. Though about 4 years ago I read that Alexa had been moaning that Keira got to wear a grey Chloe trouser suit before she could, so maybe it's Alexa ripping her off
