She only needs to be in the spotlight, and people talk about her, nothing more... This is sad, because Kim is so under herself. I am so disappointed about her "look" for "charity"....

It's the same when she pictures herself at the event for Michael Jackson (RIP) with her sisters and mother in her blog... Shameless!

What's wrong with what she's wearing? She looks casual and chic. As for charity, who cares what her motives are, she's giving publicity to a good cause.

I am a bit cynical when people as embarassingly rich as Kim publicity seek through charity work. She could probably happily donate thousands to any cause she wanted, without publicising it, but she never would.

It's less about bring awareness to the charity as it is about bringing awareness to Kim Kardashian.

(She looks nice, though.)

There's nothing wrong with what she's wearing. Not like she's showed up in Herve Leger and YSL tribute heels.

No point comparing her to "saint" Angelina.

there s nothing wrong with what she s wearing if she s in the city shopping or whatever.
in this case she s in Africa, helping the poor. and in that outfit she s more like mocking them.
she should get a lesson in dressing for the real world and in etiquette

It's a jacket, a vest and leggings. It's a perfectly sensible outfit. I'm interested to know what you think the appropriate attire for charity work is.

I'm sorry but I have to agree with this !
What do you want her to wear ? Do you want her to wear Walmart's clothes to pretend that she's one of the poor ?! I mean seriously guys .... I admit that the sunglasses are bit much.Your comments reminds me of the some comments that were made about Madonna when she went to Malawi and wore expensive clothes. She can afford those stuff good for her,but saying that she's mocking those people is bit too harsh and easy.

i think it is about obviously expensive clothes.

i am not saying that she should have dressed like a homeless, but not so striking shoes, the hair pulled back (!), tone down the make up.
nobody goes to africa (also not Madonna) to help/get attention on people's needs with make up like you are going on stage to sing an opera

she could have dressed just like how you should when it is about OTHERS and not YOU and how you seek everybody's admiration how good you look.

as much as i think that she has/had a beautiful face, this proofs once again how self absorbed she is and that makes her faaaaar less attractive in my eye.

It was tounge and cheek.

Of course most forms of celeb charity work are about making themselves feel good alongside giving back, but there's basic common sense. Im sure the last thing on those Botswanan kids minds are whether KK hair is perfectly coiffured. The whole get up is just a tad distasteful IMO. & this is coming from someone who's worked with displaced children in uganda several times.

I totally get your point too Luisa, but I don't think that those clothes are obviously expensive. For people like you and me,probably. But for some random people in Africa that are not interested in fashion .... I don't think so !

Lol, if she wore OP from Wal-Mart she would be criticized for trying to appear like one of the regular folks.

i guess you are right about that Lady b.
i just think she should have toned everything down a bit. it is NOT meant like: toning down=Walmart clothes.

she could have been in Hermes or Prada or whatever from head to toe; just a little less "colourfull" apperance would have been apropiate. it is not about expensive or not.

i am sure Lady Di wasn't dressed in Walmart or Topshop, either, when she visited for these purposes.

i guess this is just a factor of class and sensitivity some just don't have
